Have you been thinking about Invisalign clear braces to straighten your crooked teeth? No matter what your age is, it’s never too late to get a straighter smile with Invisalign!

At PhD Dental, our dentists and orthodontists recommend clear Invisalign aligners for Los Angeles patients who want straight teeth but don’t want metal braces. Treatment with Invisalign is comfortable and convenient, and the crystal-clear aligners are barely noticeable when worn.

Invisalign treatment corrects alignment issues like crooked teeth, crowded teeth, and overlapped teeth, as well as overbites and underbites. Here’s how the process works:

Your Invisalign Evaluation

The first step is an Invisalign evaluation by one of our orthodontists to determine the extent of your misalignment and whether or not Invisalign is right for you.

Planning Invisalign Treatment

Our Los Angeles orthodontist takes photos, x-rays, and impressions to determine how your teeth will move through each stage of treatment. They send the treatment plan to an Invisalign lab that fabricates several sets of aligners customized for you.

Wearing Your Invisalign Aligners

When they’re ready, we’ll give you two sets of Invisalign aligners and instructions for wearing them. For the fastest results, wear your Invisalign aligners for 22 hours a day for two to three weeks, then switch to the second set of aligners. There are no restrictions with Invisalign because you can remove them for meals, brushing, and flossing.

You’ll visit us every four to six weeks so we can give you your next sets of aligners and check on your progress. The process continues in this way until you’ve used all your aligners, and you've finished your treatment.
